Yelagiri or Elagiri is a small hill station located in between the towns of Vaniyambadi and Jolarpettai (Tamil Nadu, India). The hill station dates back to the British colonial days.”The Whole of Yelagiri was once the private property of the Yelagiri Zamindar Family. It was taken over by the government of India during the Early 1950s. The house of the Yelagiri Zamindars still exists. British administered Elagiri (Neelagiri) or Swami Malai or Kolli Malai.

Morning Drive to Yelagiri, Check in to the Hotel, Tour of the Pugnanoor Lake for Pedal or Row Boating. Having Done That, You Could Stroll Across to the other End of the Lake Where There is a “hanging View Point” a Platform On Top of a Tree, from Where One Gets a Bird’s Eye View of the Lake. Visit the Velan Temple a Top the Hillock & the Government Silk Farm. Post Lunch Optional Trek (2 Hours) to the Top of Swamimalai Hill for Breathtaking Views of the Countryside. Dinner & Overnight At Yelagiri Hills.
